When Charlize Theron first cropped up in 2017's Fast & Furious 8 as the villainous Cipher, the one thing everyone commented on was her dreadlock look. But now, Theron has hit twitter to unveil how the character will appear in next year's Fast & Furious 9. And let's just say, the dreads are dead.

Yes, it's a cropped, stylish new look for the cyberterrorist who will was last seen murdering Elena Neves (Elsa Pataky) and causing havoc for Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and the gang. Quite what she'll be doing in the ninth outing remains to be seen – it's anyone's guess as to whether she'll once again be an antagonist or, in Fast tradition, will somehow have come over to Dom's side. Or potentially somewhere in between; she's discovered an even greater threat and needs Dom's help to stop them.

The new movie, with Justin Lin back directing and Daniel Casey on script patrol this time (regular writer Chris Morgan was busy on Hobbs & Shaw), will see the return of many of the regulars, plus new franchise faces John Cena and Michael Rooker. It'll be out in the UK on 22 May next year.
