This year's Marvel panel at the San Diego Comic-Con was typically big, with plenty of films confirmed for Phase Four and other announcements. But even with a 90 minute plus running time, Kevin Feige and co. didn't have time to offer full details on everything they're cooking up. But the company's boss did sneak in confirmation about several projects, including word that the Fantastic Four and the X-Men are definitely headed to the MCU.
Feige shared nothing beyond squeezing that announcement in at the end, leaving fans wanting more, but it's exciting to know that after months of evasion, the company is officially exploring stories that would bring the former Fox properties into the wider fold. There's no word on when it might happen, but it'll happen.
Also mentioned? Developments on Black Panther 2 (which we know Ryan Coogler is already writing), a Captain Marvel sequel (nothing is known about that one beyond Brie Larson returning as the lead) and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, with James Gunn still attached to write and direct, once he finishes work on The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros. and DC.
