That shade of blue has become something of a signature in the lead up to this summer, and last night, a good stretch of Leicester Square was carpeted with it. Yes, it was finally time for the UK Premiere of Fantastic Four, and it really wouldn't have been the same if the quartet in question weren't there to meet the fans now, would it? The cars arrived and the stars disembarked. And then the heavens opened. Well, that stretch of perfect summer weather couldn't last forever. A few umbrellas later, and the foursome headed towards the crowds on either side of the now "4" emblazoned walkway for some autograph signing. Fortunately, Empire has avoided this meteorological calamity by being placed inside. Soon they head in. one at a time, to tell us about the previous minutes "I can't believe it!" says Ioan 'Mr Fantastic' Gruffudd "It's absolutely bucketing down! We opened the car door, and the heavens opened." But it hadn't undone the crowd's nor Gruffudd's mood one iota. Everything we asked seemed to illicit a beaming response from with world's nicest Welshman. It being the UK Premiere? "Over the moon. Obviously, being a British actor, I'm delighted to represent us internationally on a huge film." Co stars? "They're all wonderful, and I think it's a testimony to our relationship on set, that it's really transposed to the characters you see on screen. You believe that these guys are a family
