Accio, new Crimes of Grindelwald images! The sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has conjured up a crop of fresh pictures teasing Newt Scamander’s (Eddie Redmayne) return to the big screen.

JK Rowling’s magizoologist will be back in the latest Wizarding World instalment, primarily set in Paris – giving fans their first proper look at France’s magical community. One of the new images shows Newt receiving a postcard of the Eiffel Tower, likely prompting his jaunt to the city of love.

Another pic shows Newt trawling the Parisian streets with muggle baker Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) in tow – suggesting that the fan favourite New Yorker’s mind-wipe will either be undone for the sequel, or that he’ll once again have to reacclimatise himself to the wizarding world.

Even more interestingly, an image showing Jude Law’s young Dumbledore in his Hogwarts office features another mysterious character in the background, which some are speculating may be Nicolas Flamel. As Potter-heads will know, Flamel is the genius alchemist behind the Philosopher’s Stone, used to create the Elixir of Life, and was known to be ‘partners’ with Dumbledore.

There’s also a fresh look at Johnny Depp’s big bad, Grindelwald himself. The dark wizard is seen standing alongside new character Vinda Rosier, played by Poppy Corby-Tuech.
