In a nice pairing for fans of rhyming, F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job, Be Cool) is working on biopic of singer Marvin Gaye, which he intends to direct.
Graye tells Variety that he plans to make a movie that covers the entire life of the legend, from his days growing up in Washington, D.C, to his part in the growth of Motown, to his great solo success, all the way up to the day his father shot him to death in 1984. The script will be written by C. Gaby Mitchell (Blood Diamond).
