If we’re all still in self-isolation in a month’s time, at least we’ll have a new action movie to look forward to. Netflix has just shared the first poster for its upcoming action-thriller Extraction, the latest film from the Russo Brothers’ AGBO production company – and just like last year’s Chadwick Boseman-starring 21 Bridges, this one sees them reuniting with a member of the Avengers, the god of thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth. Check out the first poster, which has just been revealed by the streaming service.

Extraction

Extraction, formerly known as Dhaka, stars Hemsworth as the gloriously-monikered hardened hero Tyler Rake (yep, really), a mercenary who’s tasked with liberating the son of a crime boss who has been kidnapped. It’s the directorial debut of Sam Hargrave, who was stunt co-ordinator on Atomic Blonde and Captain America: Civil War – so expect punchy set-pieces from Hemsworth. As well as being produced by the Russos, the screenplay was penned by Joe Russo, while David Harbour (himself soon to make his MCU debut in Black Widow, whenever that is rescheduled for) stars alongside Hemsworth.

Keep your eyes peeled for a trailer, which surely won’t be far behind this poster, and be prepared to add Extraction to your Netflix watchlist when it drops on 24 April.
