Brutal stories of people surviving in overseas prisons don't come along too often, and A Prayer Before Dawn has the benefit of being true. Find the new UK trailer for the film exclusively below.

Directed by Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire, the story follows Billy Moore (Joe Cole), a young English boxer incarcerated for three years in two of Thailand’s most notorious prisons. He is quickly thrown into a world of drugs and gang violence, but when the prison authorities allow him to take part in the Muay Thai boxing tournaments, Billy realises that this is his only hope for survival, taking him on an incredible journey to redemption.

Jonathan Hirschbein and Nick Saltrese adapted Moore's memoir for the film, and it'll be in UK and Irish cinemas on 20 July.
