A new trailer for Paddy Considine's Journeyman comes swinging into the ring this morning. The film sees Considine as middleweight boxer Matty Burton, who decides to defend his title one last time before hanging up his gloves up for good. Unfortunately, Burton suffers a serious blow during the bout, leaving him with life-changing injuries that impact his life, his marriage and his future. Check out the new trailer below.
Following his 2011 directorial debut, Tyrannosaur, the prodigiously talented Considine once again stars, writes and directs the film. He's joined by co-stars Jodie Whittaker, Anthony Welsh, Tony Pitts and Paul Popplewell. Our advice? Bring some tissues, this one's going to be a gut punch.
Journeyman is released in the UK on 16 February 2018.
