Blistering hot property Ewan McGregor, soon to be seen in Danny Boyle's eagerly awaited follow-up to Trainspotting, A Life Less Ordinary, may be cast as dodgy dealer Nick Leeson, the fraudulent trader who brought about the Barings Bank collapse, in a film based on Leeson's book about the matter. Patsy Kensit is also expected to star in the role of Leeson's wife Lisa. Leeson himself will act as an adviser on the movie from his cell in a Singapore jail. Not a financial adviser, we hope.
