If you were bitten by the radioactive spider bug when you saw Spider-Man on the big screen – whether the Sam Raimi trilogy, the Amazing Spider-Man movies, or Jon Watts’ Marvel Cinematic Universe entries – then we have good news. UK audiences have watched on in envy as American cinemas have welcomed every live-action Spider-film back to the big screen in recent weeks under the ‘Spider Mondays’ campaign. But now, our time is here: the films are officially coming back to UK cinemas too this summer, through August and September. Get ready for Spider-Mania!
That means eight doses of web-slinging goodness will be demanding your attention in the tail end of the summer: 2002’s Spider-Man will be screening from 2 August; Spider-Man 2 from 9 August; Spider-Man 3 from 16 August; The Amazing Spider-Man from 23 August; The Amazing Spider-Man 2 from 30 August; Spider-Man: Homecoming from 6 September; the Extended Edition of Spider-Man: Far From Home from 13 September; and the More Fun Stuff edition of Spider-Man: No Way Home from 20 September. Thwip! Keep an eye on your local cinema listings for exact dates and screening times. The only downside? The amazing Spider-Verse movies aren’t part of the re-release, so you’ll have to revisit Miles Morales’ adventures from the comfort of your own home.
