Are you a fan of the Empire Podcast? Have you long hoped that the Pod-Team might come to your home town, in complete defiance of restraining orders, pitchfork-wielding mobs and that unfortunate incident with the badger called Gerald? Then have we got some bangly-bang-up news for you. We're going on a mini-tour, and the evidence is in the poster below.

Empire Podcast mini-tour 2019

Yes, Chris Hewitt, Helen O'Hara, James Dyer and editor-in-chief Terri White are hitting a few select venues as part of the tour.

First up, the team will once again be a key part of the London Podcast Festival, held at King's Place. Get tickets for the pod appearance on 14 September right here.

On 19 September, we're appearing at the Edinburgh International Magazine Festival, a celebration of all things mag-related. Tickets can be found here.

One week later, on 26 September, the destination is York's City Screen York, a Picturehouse venue. You can buy tickets for that stop here.

Expect far too much talk of the Anfield legends when the tour stops at Liverpool's FACT Picturehouse on 3 October. Here's the ticket link.

On 10 October, the team rocks up at Brighton's Duke's At Komedia, and you can get tickets here.

Finally, on 17 October, the Pod makes its long-wanted trip to Northern Ireland and joins a 30th birthday celebration with the gang at Cinemagic. Ticket link? Step this way.

Grab your tickets quickly as seats will be limited and you don't want to miss out on the fun. This is our first, toe-dipping attempt at a tour and if it's successful, we'd want to try a bigger list of venues and cities next year. So come and join the madness! You'll laugh! You'll clap! You'll.... learn?*

*Yeah, probably not.
