Shortly after the Empire Podcast began in 2012, Chris Hewitt inadvertently insulted British action star Scott Adkins, not thinking for one second that Scott would a) hear it and b) call Chris out on Twitter about it. Luckily, although he could crush Chris like a grape, Scott is a forgiving man, and so was happy to come into the podbooth at long last to talk about his new film, Accident Man, as well as idolising Jean-Claude Van Damme and accidentally kicking Benedict Cumberbatch.
Our second guest is Brad Peyton, director of this week's monster mash-up Rampage, and he talks to Chris about working with The Rock, playing poker, not being an asshole, and an early contender for line of the year.
Then, Chris retreats into the podbooth with Ben Travis, James Dyer, and the returning, albeit croaky, Helen O'Hara, to review Rampage, talk about giant animals, and revisit an all-time classic line from Shark Attack 3. Oh, and he discovers the mother of all scheduling clashes. Hear his horror unfold live. Enjoy.
This week's podcast is dedicated to one of Empire's favourite photographers, Sarah Dunn, who has suffered a traumatic injury in a horrific accident in LA. To donate to her recovery fund, visit this link.
