Wands ready, everyone: two years after Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them took us back to the Wizarding World, a brand new adventure is incoming. Not only is Newt Scamander back, but Jude Law is entering the series as a young Albus Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald – a film which will take Harry Potter fans back to Hogwarts, and out into new horizons as we enter Paris’ wizarding society. In the new issue of Empire, hitting shelves on Thursday 4 October, we go inside the making of the latest entry in the magical saga – and Newt and Dumbledore can be found on the cover, ready to cast a spell on you lucky readers.
And that’s not all. Coming bundled alongside the regular issue is bonus magazine Harry Potter: An Empire History, telling the complete story of how the original series made it to the big screen. As well as including every classic Harry Potter Empire feature written during the films’ production, we also have brand new interviews with directors Christopher Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell and David Yates who tell their side of the story.
But we’re not done yet. As well as Empire’s November issue and Harry Potter: An Empire History, this month’s magazine also comes with the next issue of Pilot TV – the cinematic TV magazine from the makers of Empire. Step into the Oval Office with the final season of House Of Cards, meet the new Doctor Who herself, Jodie Whittaker, and get the low-down on all the gripping TV dramas and comedies you should be watching as the autumn nights draw in.
It’s a bumper three-magazine package that we can’t wait to share with you – so on Thursday 4 October be sure to head down to your local good or evil newsagent (Diagon or Knockturn Alley, your choice) and bellow ‘Accio, Empire!' at the nearest unsuspecting member of staff. Or, you know, just take it to the till and pay for it. With normal money – not galleons, sickles and knuts. You can also pre-order it right now online, with free p&p, over here{
