With the latest Men In Black film taking place primarily in London, our minds did wonder whether we might see a return for Emma Thompson's Agent O, who was running the alien-policing organisation in Men In Black 3. Happily, we can report that her character will indeed give the orders in the new movie.
F. Gary Gray is already shooting the movie in the UK, with Chris Hemsworth as an agent and another estimable Thompson, Tessa, as a woman looking to join the team. Most of the other details are locked in a secure vault, but the film will feature the usual world-saving blend of comedy and action.
Thompson joins a cast that also includes Liam Neeson and Kumail Nanjiani, with the script by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. The movie will be in cinemas on 14 June next year. On the way for Thompson are Johnny English Strikes Again on 5 October and voice roles in two films, The Voyage Of Doctor Dolittle (5 April 2019) and Missing Link (a couple of weeks later on 19 April).
