**The Adjustment Bureau, **the sci-fi adaptation of Philip K. Dick's short story Adjustment Team, has a new recruit in the shapely form of Emily Blunt, who has signed on to star opposite Matt Damon.

The versatile and very *now *Blunt will don ballet slippers to play an enigmatic ballerina whose arrival in the life of Damon's ambitious congressman throws his career, and existence, into turmoil. Unlike the offbeat Dick short story, **The Adjustment Bureau **will see Damon embark on a Kafkaesque trail through Manhattan to uncover the mysterious forces keeping the two of them apart.

With two charismatic leads, a script and directorial debut from Bourne Ultimate writer George Nolfi, and an intriguing sci-fi love story premise, this has just been added to our list of things that make us go 'hmm...'.

Principal photography is scheduled to start in New York this September.
