Aaron Eckhart – currently wowing US audience with his razor-sharp work in black comedy Thank You For Smoking – has agreed to star in another laugher, Bill, to be produced by GreeneStreet Films.

Melisa Wallack penned and will direct the film, about a man (Eckhart) fed up with his job and life in general who hits his lowest point when he catches his other half cheating. But when he starts mentoring an unruly teenager he finds new meaning in his life.

Wallack, who co-wrote with her husband, producer Bernie Goldman, already has The Dallas Buyer’s Club in development with Brad Pitt starring and Marc “Finding Neverland” Forster directing.
