We've had CGI fish, sharks, toys, bugs, pre-historic creatures, donkeys, ogres and swashbuckling cats,. Where, in the phylum of the animal kingdom, can Hollywood find its next noble creature to pixellate? Enhydra lutis or, as everybody else knows them, the sea otter. Well, it's obvious, really; the kids loved that Tarka story, didn't they? And, now that nobody wants to work with real live animals anymore, the world of computer animation is the perfect place to create the adventures of Ollie the Otter, who saves his lovely, furry, wet family from the clutches of an on-the-edge and narcississtic killer whale, while saving a group of his friends from the sea park they used to call home.
