Alison Eastwood, normally to be seen acting, is following in her father’s footsteps by tackling her first film as a director.
She’s kicking off with Rails And Ties for Warner Independent Pictures, which is based on Micky Levy’s script that sees to families clash in a blitz of emotion and mental struggles. It even opens with a suicidal woman parking her car – which also contains her nine-year-old son – on a railroad crossing, waiting for a speeding train.
