If Adam McKay opening his pie-hole for an exclusive Empire chat about Anchorman: The Legend Continues got you all excited about the fact that it’s finally about to start shooting, then you’ll be pleased to know the film is continuing to drag actors into its cast by means of a giant net. The latest to get caught are Dylan Baker and Meagan Good.
Deadline makes no mention of who Baker might be playing, but Good is likely to ruffle some feathers among the Channel 4 news team as she’s down to be Ron Burgundy’s boss when he hits the world of cable news in New York.
The pair joins a cast that already includes Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Christina Applegate, Kristen Wiig and recent hire James Marsden.
Good was most recently seen in Think Like A Man and spends her days shooting US network drama Deception. Baker appeared in Two Days In New York and has recently turned director for sports drama 23 Blast.
McKay and co are kicking off shooting the Anchorman sequel round about now in Atlanta. Which is, of course, the natural place to film a story set in New York City. Wait… Still, it’ll be out on December 20 and the date can’t come fast enough.
