Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt

We know that Dwayne Johnson is something of a charisma combustion engine. But let's be honest: Emily Blunt is no shrinking violet when it comes to charm. So the combination of the two, in a new video to pimp the Jungle Cruise based on the Disney theme park ride, is a delight.

The movie, which Jaume Collet-Serra is currently busy making, features Johnson as Frank, a boat captain who agrees to take Lily (Blunt) and her brother (Jack Whitehall) on a quest to track down a tree with healing powers.

Yet – because the movie would be a little dull otherwise – it won't be that simple. There are wild animals to be encountered and some nefarious types who are also after the plant.

Johnson and Blunt don't exactly offer much detail here, besides comedically bickering over the tone and inspiration for the film, but it's just fun to see them interact.

Jungle Cruise, which also features Paul Giamatti, Edgar Ramírez and Jesse Plemons, is scheduled to dock in October next year.
