It's been 19 years since **Dumb & Dumber **was unleashed onto cinema screens, with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels' unique brand of barmy making them instant comedy heroes. Now it looks like they're back for a second helping of laxatives and chili sauce with Dumb & Dumber To, thanks to those folk over at Universal and Red Granite.

Last week, Warner Bros. turned down the pitch made The Brothers Farrelly, despite the relatively low budget and the fact that both Carrey and Daniels were firmly on board, citing the disappointing box office of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and a general lack of audience awareness.

Universal and the Red Granite team - who are best known for Friends With Kids, though they've also got Daniel Radcliffe's Horns and Scorsese's The Wolf Of Wall Street on their slate - aren't so lily-livered, picking up the project and running with it until the cops catch them and hit them with sticks.

With the latest draft written by Horrible Bosses' John Morris and Sean Anders, the Dumb & Dumber To script sees the pair searching for Daniels’ illegitimate daughter to get her to give him a new kidney. Dumb & Dumber To: Kidney Hunt has a nice ring to it if you ask us.

**Dumb & Dumber To **has no planned release date yet, but you'll know more as soon as we do.[[Poll926]]
