The Fast & The Furious franchise never saw a car it didn’t want to crash, smash or otherwise trash. So it is with the latest entry: The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift. The third film takes the action to Japan, where “drift” racers (who drive lightweight cars that glide along and can spin easily) compete to see who is top dog.
Into this world comes Sean Boswell (an all-grown-up Lucas Black), a renegade street racer who, after one run-in too many with the cops at home, has been sent to live in Tokyo with his father. Guess what happens. Go on, guess. No, he doesn’t open a sushi restaurant and die tragically after eating a poisonous blowfish.
