Writer/director S. Craig Zahler is no stranger to shock, especially with his two previous films, Brawl In Cell Block 99 and Bone Tomahawk. He's also facing controversy with his latest, cop thriller Dragged Across Concrete, which stars Mel Gibson and Cell Block's Vince Vaughn. Check out the latest trailer.

Dragged Across Concrete, which has screened at festivals including London last year, finds Gibson and Vaughn as police officers who are suspended when their bad-cop-bad-cop tactics are caught on camera. Instead of sitting out their suspension quietly and needing to supplement their missing income, the pair delve into the criminal underworld and get caught up in a bank robbery.

Laurie Holden, Jennifer Carpenter, Tory Kittles and Don Johnson are all in the supporting cast, which certainly appears to hold back no punches as it explores complicated issues of race, police brutality and revenge.
