Having recently completed political thriller, The Sentinel, opposite Keifer Sutherland and Eva Longoria, Michael Douglas is shifting into comedy mode for his next outing. You And Me Dupree centres around a newlywed couple who let the groom’s best man stay with them post nuptial with, as ever, much comic hilarity to ensue.
As you would expect, Douglas plays the overbearing, controlling father of the bride. Expect good things as the quality cast is rounded out by Owen Wilson (also on producing duties), Kate Hudson and Matt Dillon, reuniting with Douglas after One Night At McCool's. Joe And Anthony Russo — who brought an understated quirky touch to Welcome To Collinwood — are set to direct the movie, ready to roll in the winter.
