Doug Liman has uncouvered The Bourne Identity and travelled to the Edge of Tomorrow – now he's about to climb The Wall. The director's next film is a psychological thriller set in the Iraq War, and the first trailer has just landed. Take a look below.

An intimate thriller set in a Middle-Eastern desert, The Wall stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Cena as two US soldiers who find themselves trapped by a lethal Iraqi sniper, with only a small concrete wall between them. When the sniper makes contact with them via radio, a deadly cat-and-mouse game ensues.

The film is based on a spec script by Dwain Worrell, one which appeared on the Black List's annual collection of best unproduced screenplays in 2014.

Produced in part by Amazon Studios, The Wall currently has a 10 March, 2017 release date, with no UK distribution announced yet, but American audiences will see the movie via Amazon and Roadside Attractions.
