We all know – and the first Don't Breathe confirmed it – that it's not a good idea to cross Stephen Lang. Even when he's blind. Now the sequel to that 2016 Fede Álvarez horror thriller arrives, with a new angle on Lang's Norman Nordstrom. Check out the first trailer...
This time around, Rodo Sayagues, who co-wrote the original, steps up to make his directorial debut, with Álvarez co-writing and producing. You might remember that the first movie saw Lang's Norm wreak terrible vengeance on some petty thieves who broke into his home, hunting them down with his skills.
Now, he's presented as more of a hero, caring for a young girl (Madelyn Grace) and trying to live a quiet life. But, because that wouldn't make for much of a thriller, events conspire to have people break in again – this time, some that appear to have more direct connections with Norman's past – and he'd forced to protect his young charge while slaughtering the invaders.
Brendan Sexton III, Steffan Rhodri and Stephanie Arcila are among the cast, and Don't Breathe 2 will hit UK cinemas on 13 August.
