Now that he's got Daniel Craig in the lead role of his latest, Knives Out, Rian Johnson has been working quickly to form the cast around him to make the best use of the delay in the Bond film series. Don Johnson will be part of that group.

Plot details remain under wraps for now, other than we know that it's a modern-day murder mystery. But Johnson joins a cast that already includes Craig, Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield and the most recent recruit, Ana De Armas.

Johnson will have the cameras rolling (and the blades sharpened) next month. As for Johnson, he's still busy shooting HBO's TV version of Watchmen and is part of the cast for Dragged Across Concrete, which has yet to confirm a full UK release after screening at the London Film Festival.
