In what is an intriguing if rather unexpected double act, Tony Scott, best known for big action sequences involving very large machinery and preferably lots and lots of guns, is to team up with indie sensation Richard Kelly, director and writer of the quite fantastic Donnie Darko. The disgustingly precocious Kelly – who at the tender age of 26 scripted and directed the mind-bending trip that is Donnie Darko – is to write the screenplay for Scott's latest project, reportedly nurtured by the British director for many years. With plot details enshrouded in the utmost of secrecy, Empire Online has discovered that the film will be called Domino and is based on the real-life story of some lass called Domino Harvey. Described as a Los Angeles crime saga, the movie will be shot through the eyes of Harvey, a former model who gives up her pampered lifestyle in a career change that takes some beating. The indulged beauty jacks in the catwalk and comes over all Boba Fett to become a real-life bounty hunter. After his tale of a boy and his imaginary rabbit friend, it's comforting to know that no generic flick will satisfy Kelly. Only the most bizarre of storylines satisfies this boy.
