Though we’re fairly certain that director Duncan Jones would have wanted to release the news himself via Twitter, sometimes you have to go through the regular channels. Either way, word has now arrived that Dominic Cooper, Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell and Rob Kazinsky are all ready to fight in **Warcraft{
They’re joining the previously-cast Paula Patton and Vikings’ man Travis Fimmel, the only recruit (so far) from the big casting push of a couple of months ago. And what will they all be doing in it? That’s still a secret known to those in the production, because details of the plot from the script by Charles Leavitt (which has since seen a re-write from Jones) remain locked in a special magic chest guarded by an angry troll. It must be murder getting copies out for the actors. Think of all the riddles you have to solve.
The fantasy game adaptation, which Jones previously touted at Comic-Con and then BlizzCon, is scheduled to start shooting in Vancouver next month, so hopefully there will soon be more to report.
Cooper will next appear in racing pic Need For Spee****d (due March 14), while Foster is part of the squad for Lone Survivor (out January 31) and appears in Kill Your Darlings with Daniel Radcliffe, out this Friday. Kebbell will crop up as an ape in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes (Jul 17) and Kazinsky was last seen in Pacific Rim.
As for Warcraft, it’ll battle on to screens on March 11, 2016.
