It's a seemingly noble mission for Ed and Lorraine Warren to contain all the possessed, terrifying objects they've collected in their missions against the evil paranormal threats of the world in one room of their house so they can't hurt others, but they must've foreseen problems if someone gets in. That's just what happens in the trailer for Annabelle Comes Home.

This third doll-focused spin-off from the Conjuring universe finds the Demonologist duo played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga (appearing properly in an Annabelle film for the first time) placing the haunted, spirit-drawing doll “safely” behind sacred glass and enlisting a priest’s holy blessing.

But an unholy night of horror awaits as Annabelle awakens the evil spirits in the room, who all set their sights on a new target – the Warrens’ ten-year-old daughter, Judy (McKenna Grace), and her friends. Gary Dauberman, who has been a writer on both the other Annabelle movies (plus The Nun and It), takes the director's chair here to wreak horror himself.

Annabelle Comes Home will be out in the UK on 28 June.
