As more news leaks out from the upcoming Big Screen version of TV cop show Starsky and Hutch, two more piece of casting have been confirmed that in our view are nothing short of inspired. When Ben Stiller was appointed to the role of Starsky, it wasn't long before rumours began circulating that he'd approached his Zoolander and Meet the Parents co-star Owen Wilson to play the dumb blond role of Hutch. In an interview today with the London Evening Standard, Stiller confirmed that Wilson was on board to play Hutch, and went on to announce who would be playing Huggy Bear. The role of the flamboyant informer goes to none other than... Snoop Dogg. 'What we're going to try to do is update it in a way,' Stiller explains. 'I'd like to do a new buddy cop movie, because I don't think there's been a good one since the Lethal Weapon. There's going to be elements of humour in it and a nod to what it comes from, but essentially, I think, it should just be a really good action comedy.'
