Someone blast the **Fast & Furious new **recruit novelty car horn! A fresh face has joined the team as director James Wan and co start shooting the seventh film. Djimon Hounsou will be leaping aboard to interact with Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and the rest.

What he’ll be doing exactly we can’t say at this point, because the plot is a secret, beyond some basic titbits. We do know that Dom (Vin Diesel), Brian (Paul Walker), Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and the gang will be back in a story set partly in Los Angeles that seems them adapting to being free of criminal charges for once.

Trouble lurks just around the next hairpin bend, though, as Jason Statham’s Ian Shaw is targeting our heroes for dong away with his brother (Luke Evans' Owen Shaw in 6). They’re going to need some help, with Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) likely to show up to provide muscular assistance.

UFC fighter Ronda Rousey is officially aboard and Kurt Russell, according to Variety, has now joined the cast. With Chris Morgan once more providing the script and Wan calling the shots, Fast & Furious 7 will be racing on to our screens on July 25 next year.

Hounsou has a few movies coming up, including Baggage Claim, Seventh Son, The Vatican Tapes and How To Train Your Dragon 2. Still, we’re most excited to see him as Korath the Pursuer in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy next year.
