Originally announced during Disney's D23 event in 2015, the Star Wars-themed lands attractions are under construction at Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California. A new video from the parks' blog revealed that full-sized AT-AT Walkers will be part of the fun at both sites.

Yes, while they're still being built they look like playground versions of the giant battle vehicles, but the video shows a version of what they'll end up as. Even if we doubt they'll be shooting guests – as that way lies lawsuits and slightly lowered visiting figures. And we doubt you'll be able to do this with them{ =nofollow}.

Among the other attractions will be the chance to take the controls of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission and an adventure that places you squarely in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

The parks are due to open in 2019, though there's a part of us that wants to send Ian McDiarmid to visit now, so that they double their efforts.
