Spec script produced by Andy Fickman

Disney has snapped up The World’s Most Annoying Man, a spec script by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert.

Despite the title, apparently it’s not a Cristiano Ronaldo biopic, but a comedy about a guy who must travel cross-country to his wedding, accompanied by his annoying brother.

Sounds decent – could well have Dumb & Dumber-type potential, although given Disney’s involvement and the fact that Seifert and Kopelow are co-exec producers on The Disney Channel’s Jonas, starring The Jonas Brothers (also known as The World’s Most Annoying Men), this might be a little more kid-friendly.

Andy Fickman, director of Race To Witch Mountain (which released its first trailer today), will produce through his newly-formed Oops Doughnuts company, along with Betsy Sullenger.

So far, though, it seems that there are no plans for Fickman to direct this.
