Disney In Bed With Elton

Elton John and his boyfriend David Furnish are going into the cartoon business together. An article in today's Screen International reports that the pair's production outfit Rocket Pictures has entered a partnership with Walt Disney Feature Animation to acquire A Gnome's Story. The deal marks the sixth big screen project for Rocket. The script by UK writers Rob Sprackling and John Smith tells the story of two rival groups of garden gnomes living next door to one another. 'Disney is backing an original, British-written property,' noted Furnish, who co-founded the company with John. 'We want to find more things like that.'
