The awards season continues to trundle along with the Director's Guild of America announcing its own nominations.
It won't be a huge surprise to learn that James Cameron, Kathryn Bigelow, Quentin Tarantino and Jason Reitman are all on the list as possible winners, but while Precious director Lee Daniels is a well deserved addition, he's also a historic one - the first African-American to be nominated for a feature film.
DGA present Taylor Hackford apparently rang each nominee in turn to let them know the good news - Daniels cried.
So… Anyone left off the list that you would have wanted to see win? Shocked that JJ Abrams, Neil Blomkamp, Duncan Jones and Peter Jackson got ignored? Let the debates rage…
