Though the most recent news about the new Terminator movie seemed a little worrying (the release date was pushed back a few months from July to November next year), the project is very much moving ahead. Diego Boneta is the latest actor added to the film.

With Deadpool's Tim Miller in the director's chair and Terminator creator James Cameron offering guidance as a producer, the new film will see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton returning to their iconic roles, while Mackenzie Davis is playing an assassin who travels from the future on some unspecified mission.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Boneta has scored the role of a human, but beyond that, and the fact that the movie will continue the story from Terminator 2 without referencing any franchise entries that followed, the details are being guarded by hulking killer robots.

Assuming there are no more changes, the new Terminator should be on our screens on or around 22 November, 2019.
