DGA Nominations Announced

Empire had a terrible time getting to sleep last night. We were coughing, sneezing, wheezing and sweating until the crack of dawn. Then we realised the malady plaguing us: we've come down with Oscar fever! (Not to mention Badintroitis) Yes, the Oscar nominations are announced on January 25, and frankly we can't wait. But until they are announced, it seems that every other awards ceremony in Tinseltown is hailed as 'being a surefire indicator of which way the Academy is going to go'. Which is, of course, hogwash
