Demi Moore In A Bunch

She's done drama, action and cartoon voiceovers, but it's rare that she's dipped a toe into ensemble comedy (unless you count St Elmo's Fire). That's about to be rectified however, with the news that Demi Moore has joined **The Reasonable Bunch{ =nofollow}.

She'll star alongside Thomas Haden Church, Kate Bosworth, Martin Landau, Ellen Barkin and Ellen Burstyn in what's described as "a comedy about warring exes and battling relatives at a family wedding."

Shades of Bride Wars or echoes of Meet the Parents? Difficult to call, since details are sketchy at the moment: THR's exclusive is more about the production set-up, which involves producer Johnny Lin (Hesher) and the Filmula production company that specialises in budgets below $60m. The Reasonable Bunch will be the second time behind the camera for Sam Levinson (son of Barry), who seems to be building a good working relationship with Barkin: she was in his previous Devil in My Shoes.

Shooting starts this month in New York.
