Deliver Us From Evil

It's possible - not certain, but possible - that you really can't have too much of a good thing. If something's great - really, really great - then what could possibly be better than more of the same? Sure, the lustre and general greatness of said thing may dull with repetition but hey, it's still going to be better than most of the nonsense we're forced to sit through. Unfortunately for the creators of Scary Movie 4, the reverse is also true. Scary Movie didn't (quite) make us want to chew our own arms off in a bid to escape the confines of the cinema but the sequel certainly made us question the presence of any divine power in the universe. News that a third film was planned sent at least one member of the office into a self-destructive spiral that led to alcoholism, drug abuse and a plot to assassinate all five of the Wayans brothers - yes, we're aware that only three of them were involved, but we believe in being thorough. There's no easy way to say this so we'll just get it out there: they're planning another one. Yes, it's true, Scary Movie 4 has received the greenlight and will continue the toilet-orientated lampooning of horror movies along with the odd superhero gag thrown in. It goes without saying that retribution will be swift and final.
