One of the several projects Guillermo del Toro is juggling in his development circus just edged closer to the front of the queue.
Gary Dauberman is the lucky sort chosen to work with the Mexican legend on his adaptation of DC Comics’ Deadman for Warner Brothers.
If he likes the script, del Toro will sit in the director’s chair for the film, which follows the ghost of a slain circus acrobat hunting his killer while using his powers to help people. Like Lassie, but, you know, dead, and a former circus acrobat.
Dauberman hasn’t had a script produced, but apparently turned in a great spec for a zombie Western.
