Listen up, Bub. If you went to see Deadpool & Wolverine on the big screen this summer, you’re far from alone. The third outing for Ryan Reynolds’ Merc With A Mouth was a colossal box office hit, making over $1.3 billion for Marvel. And that, surely, is in part thanks to his long-awaited team-up with Hugh Jackman’s Logan, making up for the misdeeds of 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine in a major way. But unless you caught it multiple times, chances are you didn’t clock all of the film’s rapid-fire gags and abundant MCU references. Fear not. Soon, you can stream Shawn Levy’s threequel to your heart’s content.
Disney has confirmed that Deadpool & Wolverine will be hitting Disney+ from 12 November – so you can revisit it (with subtitles on) and really take in every gasp-worthy insult that crosses Wade Wilson’s lips. And don’t even get us started on what that major cameoing actor said on screen. The film joins both previous Deadpool movies – and the entire Fox X-Men saga – on the service, so you can revisit the entire saga if that ‘Time Of Your Life’ montage got your eyes all misty for a previous era of comic book cinema.
While Marvel largely took a year off in 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine was the studio’s one big-screen release – and given how many viewers it pulled in, that gamble paid off. Now, let’s see how their hit-packed 2025 – set to bring Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and a cavalcade of Disney+ series – will fare. Snikt!
