For its second week running, the mobster-on-the-couch comedy starring Robert DeNiro and Billy Crystal, was America's top movie, raking in an estimated $15.7 million at the box office. The figure was a drop of only 15 percent from its opening week, proving that the film was indeed holding its own against the arrival of five new movies, each targeted at a variety of audiences. Second place went to the crude sequel to the popular 1976 horror flick Carrie, The Rage: Carrie 2, amassing a not so impressive $7.4 million. However, the other four films, including the missing kid drama The Deep End of the Ocean which stars Michelle Pfeiffer, washed up sixth with just $5.6 million, failing to triumph over third placed Cruel Intentions, itself only pulling in $7 million, losing almost half of its opening week audience. Box office business was down 6.3 percent from the same period last year, when Titanic was still exciting audience interest, and this weekend, prior to the March 21 Academy Awards, no Oscar nominated films were in the Top Ten. Estimates US grosses were as follows: 1. Analyze This - $15.7 million 2. The Rage: Carrie 2 - $7.4 million 3. Cruel Intentions - $7 million 4. The Corruptor - $5.9 million 5. Baby Geniuses - $5.8 million 6. The Deep End of the Ocean - $5.6 million 7. Wing Commander - $5 million 8. The Other Sister - $3.9 million 9. 8mm - $3.6 million 10. October Sky - $3.1 million
