Following on from a teaser for the movie during DC's FanDome event last month, the full first trailer for DC League Of Super-Pets has landed online, featuring the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, John Krasinski, Keanu Reeves and more. Check it out...

Super-Pets is, as you'd expect from the title, told from the point of view of some super-powered creatures. Prime among them is Krypto (Johnson), who is Superman's (Krasinski's) faithful hound. But when his owner and other members of the Justice League are kidnapped by the villainous Lex Luthor (Marc Maron), it's up to Superman's best friend to save the day.

He'll need a little help, though, and he'll get it from a rag-tag group of shelter animals, who have all accidentally recently been exposed to something that grants them extraordinary abilities. There's fellow dog Ace (Hart), who is seemingly indestructible, Melton the speedy turtle (Natasha Lyonne), PB the pig (Vanessa Bayer) who can inflate herself and Chip the squirrel (Diego Luna), blessed with the power to shoot electricity from his hands.

While earlier talk of the story pointed to Ace already being the Bat-Hound, this looks more like an origin story for the animal league. Kate McKinnon, Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz are also in the voice cast for this one, which comes from directors Jared Stern and Sam Levine.

DC League Of Super-Pets will be in UK on 20 May next year.
