The cast for the sequel to adventure hit Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle grows more eclectic by the day. The latest recruit for the sequel (to a film that was itself already a sequel to the 1995 original) is Danny Glover.

While we know that Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black will be joined by Danny DeVito, Awkwafina and now Glover, we don't yet know what the story will be for this one. You'd have to assume that the teens who get draw into the video game version of Jumanji last time are once again back in the virtual realm as their adult avatars, but it could also be a scenario where the game universe is under threat.

Whatever happens, the script comes from returning director Jake Kasdan who worked with Jungle's Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, and the aim is to have the finished movie in cinemas on 13 Decemeber.

Glover, last seen in The Old Man & The Gun, has The Last Black Man In San Francisco headed to the Sundance Film Festival. He also has a role in Jim Jarmusch's The Dead Don't Die.
