We've seen him go to some extremes in his career in the last few years – he's even playing a dead body in Swiss Army Man. But there is a different sort of extreme in store for Daniel Radcliffe in the new trailer for thriller Imperium.

Radcliffe here is Nate Foster, an idealistic young FBI analyst with little field experience who is handed a tough assignment by boss Toni Collette. He's going undercover with a radical right-wing terrorist group, and will need to delve into his new personality to pass muster with the white supremacists he'll be looking to help take down.

It doesn't seem that writer/director Daniel Ragussis has gone for an in-too-deep-style of thriller: Nate keeps his principles but finds it tough to maintain the illusion while some very dangerous people and fomenting their latest, explosive plan.
