We've known for a while that 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg was hard at work on a Predator prequel movie. The last time we heard about it, it was called Skull. Disney+ Day, though brought a change on two fronts – one, it's now called Prey (as per the logo above) and two, it'll debut on streaming services.

This will be a very different Predator outing, and takes place long before even the original film. Here's the logline... "Set in the world of the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, the action-thriller follows Naru, the skilled warrior who fiercely protects her tribe against a highly evolved alien predator."

Prey (2022)

Though there's no exact date for the movie, we now know it'll be out next summer on Hulu in the States, and via Star in the UK and elsewhere.
