He’s only just made a deal to appear in Shawn Levy’s latest trip to the family franchise well, **Night At The Museum 3, but Dan Stevens just can’t stop lining up projects. According to Variety, he’s now planning to fit in work on Tom McCarthy’s new drama, **The Cobbler before he reports to Ben Stiller and co.
McCarthy’s latest caused waves when he cast Adam Sandler as the lead back in September. Though most of the details are still being kept quiet, the original reports suggested that the plot follows a shoe repair expert who has a strange ability to step into the lives of those whose footwear he works on. We’ll have to wait and see if that turns out to be the case. Flying under the radar, McCarthy appears to already be at work on the film, which was co-written by Paul Sado.
As for Stevens, in addition to the new Night At The Museum, he’s worked on Adam Wingard’s new thriller The Guest and crime drama A Walk Among The Tombstones with Liam Neeson.
