It's been a little more than a month since we learned that Armie Hammer had landed the lead in a new thriller from Under The Shadow's Babak Anvari. The project doesn't yet have a confirmed name, but we do know who will be co-starring, with word that Dakota Johnson and Zazie Beetz have joined the cast.

Anvari has written and will direct the thriller, which finds Hammer as a New Orleans bartender who picks up a random phone left behind where he works. He soon regrets that, as it leads to a series of disturbing and inexplicable events. We hate it when that happens; we prefer joyful and easy-to-explain events.

Annapurna is backing the new movie, pencilling in a March 2019 release date for the US. Johnson, who is now freed from the shackles of the Fifty Shades franchise, has worked on indie drama Peanut Butter Falcon and horror reboot Suspiria. Beetz, in addition to being a key part of TV comedy Atlanta, will have a blockbuster shot when she appears as Domino in Deadpool 2, due out on 16 May.
