Cusack Thankful It’s Not Friday

In an interview in Empire magazine (on sale July 1st) John Cusack speaks out about his apperance on the now defunct TFI Friday and his opinion of ginger host Chris Evans. Commenting on Evans, Cusack says, "I hate to use the word 'asshole'... I'm sure he's a good person, but the guy was so over-familiar." He details how Evans treated him like a long-lost friend, even thought they'd never met, explaining, "... he carried on like we were old buddies. The guy obviously has issues." Cusack went on the show to promote High Fidelity (released July 21st) but luckily hasn't scuppered any chances of getting asked back, as the show was cancelled due to falling ratings.
